One of the questions I get asked most often, by both strangers on insta and friends IRL, is how I get to go to cool events in the city. The answer is, and always has been, My Social Canvas.
My Social Canvas is a social impact fashion brand that empowers and equips Gen Z girls for success. They sell products designed by girls, for girls, and are dedicated to helping girls design a life (and career) they love! I’ve been involved with MSC since I was 15, and I have been so abundantly blessed by the opportunities this company has given me.
MSC has truly welcomed me into “the room where it happens” far too many times to count. Through MSC, I have been to fashion week (and interviewed Rebecca Minkoff at her show!), the New York Stock Exchange, HerConference, and so much else in between. I have sat in on meetings with huge companies, assisted in capital pitches, formed personal relationships with executives, and seen first hand the process of production for some of my favorite brands (including DVF and Theory).
Everything about MSC has been a dream come true for me, and the best part is, you can get involved too!
There are so many exciting things coming up for My Social Canvas, so if you would like to become part of the campus community, check out this link.
I am forever thankful for MSC, and I can’t wait to see how you can get involved too!
Be sure to follow My Social Canvas on Instagram to keep up to date with all things MSC and how you can be apart of it.
All my love.
***Just want to put it out there that this post is in no way sponsored. Every word and opinion above is my own, and I am genuinely passionate about, and believe in, this company.***
(Just A Few Of) The Opportunities MSC Has Given Me
New York Fashion Week
MSC set me up to go to Rebecca Minkoff’s FW ’16 show with backstage access and the chance to ask Rebecca some questions with Teen Vogue! Coolest experience EVER!
I’ve been able to go to DVF a few times with MSC (and connections through it), and every time I go I leave feeling so inspired! DVF is seriously my favorite brand, and I am reminded why every time I go back!
The New York Stock Exchange
Going to the exchange is sort of a bucket-list thing for most people, regardless of their interest in finance or trading. With that in mind, you can probably assume how excited I am every time I get to be on the floor, considering I am keenly interested in and pursuing a career in trading.
I’ve been able to do a few press things for MSC, but this photoshoot back in 2017 was seriously so much fun! I was with a bunch of my friends and we got to spend the day dancing in the studio, taking pictures, and eating allll the snacks.
