(A Few Of) My Favorite Foods In NYC

As I mentioned in my last post, I’m a huge foodie; I get a ridiculous amount of joy from good food. Living in NYC, I have a multitude of good eats right at my fingertips. Here are a few that I’ve been to recently.

Ladurée SoHo

I truly think Ladurée is my favorite restaurant of all time; it’s the one restaurant I tell every tourist they need to go to. I cannot express enough how vital it is you go there. It’s so good. The rose french toast is TO DIE FOR!

Buvette is a super cozy French cafe in the West Village. There’s pretty much always a wait for a table, but it is so worth it! Make sure you get some of their lemonade too– it’s delish!

Fun fact: My mom once had a full conversation with Parker Posey here.

Miss Madeleine

Oh. My. Lord. This bakery is freaking next level. I only discovered this place a few weeks ago, and admittedly my first motivation for trying it out lie in that it was both bright pink and named “Madeleine”. Honestly, though, this place is a game-changer. I simply cannot believe they’re not any bigger because these are straight up the best croissants in NYC by a long shot! I really cannot express how much I love this place. It is the sweetest little French bakery with all the best French foods and such kind French people! So much French goodness!

The Doughnut Project

This is also a new addition to my faves– I only discovered it a few weeks ago when my Dad and I were looking for donuts one Saturday morning (very important), and we stumbled into this place. These are definitely not your traditional donut (my favorite OG donuts are Orwashers, followed by The Donut Pub), but they have such a good variety of flavors! My favorite is the rosé donut. So good!

Pretty much every Instagram blogger and their mother has been here, but it is really good for a quick lunch or a plant-based version of your fav. snacks. The mac n’ cheese is insane– you would never know it’s vegan!

Serendipity 3

Serendipity is super touristy and once you try it out, you will completely understand why. The frozen hot chocolate is arguably the best dessert ever. Seriously! And their drugstore sundaes are also incredible! Worth every calorie.

Hutch + Waldo

I love this place! This is a super cute Australian café that has the best coffee! It’s been completely satisfying my Australian-coffee withdrawals.

Bluestone Lane

I freaking love Bluestone Lane. I know it’s quite popular and there are so many locations in cities all over the country– but it is really good! They also have milo

Good Thanks

This is the only picture I have from Good Thanks. I’m well aware that it looks almost identical to Hutch + Waldo and that is probably because they’re both small Australian cafes haha (can you tell I like Australian cafes?). Good Thanks is delish though! Perfect for a coffee or snack during the day. Their banana bread is also amazing!

Le Botaniste

Le Botaniste is a super cool plant-based restaurant that is seriously so good! It’s my favorite sort of vegan food because you can’t tell that it’s vegan haha. They have a few locations around the city though so it is definitely worth checking out (whether you’re plant-based or not!)

Alice’s Tea Cup

Alice’s Tea Cup has been a long time favorite of mine– I basically lived there in middle school. It’s super cute though! Perfect spot for a mother-daughter brunch or afternoon tea with your friends!

Ruby’s Cafe

And then there is Ruby’s which is another (you guessed it) Australian cafe. Ruby’s is so yum and has really good coffee! Definitely somewhere to check out for a weekend breakfast!

And there is so much more where that came from! I’ll definitely do this post again, but if you would like to see some of the best eats in NYC in real-time, just check out my insta stories (because phone always eats first ok).

Go eat something yum!

All my love.

M. xo.
